Egress Device (Bail Out Connector) is used to connect your helmet or headset to Helicopters or Airplanes that use the U174 or TP-120 connector.  In the event of a fast egress, the pilot or crewman's helmet will detach from the communication connector point with just a small amount of pressure applied to the main communication cord.

The 6" connector will flex in any direction allowing for the main cord of a helmet to break apart and allowing the pilot to exit the aircraft.
