HEAVY DUTY Helicopter Helmet Chin Strap - EVO / MSA Gallet Retrofit

I bought this thinking it was the chin strap with the magnetic, metal buckle that’s on new EVO helmets. Unfortunately, it was not. It has a cheap plastic buckle. Although it’s a superior chin strap to the stock Gallet, it was worth nowhere near the $129 I paid for it. If I hadn’t badly needed a chinstrap, I would have returned it. I feel it’s a $30 item that I paid $129 for. I’d pass, next time.

Awesome product, really a good fix for the Gallet helmet strap problem. I have had this helmet for 18 years and finally got annoyed with the repeated failure of the strap buckle/tab break issue. It is a little pricy but the parts being milled out of high tech aluminum and the way it works, Never have that problem again. well worth it, only regret that I did not buy it sooner.

Much improved, looks like it will last. I would buy it again. On the down side, There was no drill bit as pictured,no instructions on how to install, nothing........ You should at least reference the u-tube video.That's how I found out how to install it.
