EVO HPH Helmet Dual Visor DOI Certified

EVO HPH Helmet - Dual Visor Technology

The EVO HPH is the first to complete the process of DOI approval which consisted of Attenuation test, Lenses certification, and Impact testing by third party Lab, Dynamic Research Inc. Evolution manufactures 5 different helmet lines to include the popular 252 which should be completed and certified in December 2019. The process takes several months to complete because the list of testing requirements by the DOI was such that no one laboratory could complete all the steps required. Following the EVO 252, the XPH and sub-models of the EVO 252 will be completed.

Why Should you consider an EVO HPH, and always wear your helmet?

Your life can be protected by helicopter helmets. This can sound crazy, but without a proper flight helmet, many pilots still want to fly. You would assume that a helmet would not save much when a plane crash is too serious, but flight helmets are not only about protecting you from an accident. There are risks that exist while flying, and in the cockpit, a helmet will also shield you.

EVO HPH is not just for your protection; If your aircraft has passengers you are responsible for the security. The flight helmet's price is nothing compared to the cost of a life risk or life-changing injury. You and the customers could not only be injured by a collision, but the accident could also harm people on the ground. A well designed and fitted helmet will increase your ability to speak, increase your visibility while covering your eyes, and provide a perfect forum for your communications devices as well as provide protection to your head. Our helmets are authorized to follow modern safety requirements, and we also have certifications for helmet testing to ensure your helicopter helmet provides you the coverage you deserve.

Are Helmets Legally Required?

There are several businesses that require their pilots to wear a helmet, especially during training drills, although they are not technically necessary. Often, flight helmets may have a range of useful accessories like night vision, communications devices, and visibility-enhancing visors. Because of the additional risk and sometimes low-flying aspect of helicopters, helicopter pilots especially wear helmets while flying. In addition to being a better fit for communication than a microphone or headset, helicopter helmets can also provide pilots with noise-reduction advantages, especially while flying on a helicopter with the doors open.

There's also the possibility of loose objects crashing into the aircraft inside the aircraft or debris that may cause damage or trigger the pilot to lose full control of the aircraft. The last thing you like while conducting a high-risk procedure when flying is something to strike you in the eyes or chest. Visit our store to check out EVO HPH and other aviation helmets we offer.
